All State Teams

The list from the MAC is short but here are my top few
Colby Sorenson- P NS
Dominated the MAC (until Central got him). Deserves highest honors for any MAC guy. Probably 2nd teamer.
Casey Addelia- SS PV
The best position player in MAC. He along with Sorenson are MAC's best options for 4A first team but will most likely recieve second team honors as well.
Derek Burkamper- P Musc
If future success were a precursor to All State honors, then Burkamper should be a first teamer. But it doesn't and he won't. He got beat a few times and showed a wild side late as innings mounted.
Elliott Duax RF Assumption
Solid two year starter for Knights may be in a position for a 3A team in the outfield. Best outfielder in MAC.
Ben Trewyn- 3B PV
Very good hitting third baseman with very good name in athletics (all state football honrs won't hurt him at all). Third team is possibility.
Brandon Engler- 3B NS
Solid 5 tool three bagger. One batter opposing pitchers didn't want to see.
Zach Fries UT- North
State runs provide special opportunities for good players and Fries has chance to make an impression on state voters.
Best player on Wildcat team making a nice run. Big game versus Ankeny and he is a shoe in for some type of mention.
