It’s been awhile since I’ve posted in here. Man the playoffs are sure crazy this year. I’ve seen Garrigan play this year but haven’t seen Wapsie. Although I saw them in week 5 so that was awhile ago. I hear good things on Wapsie tho. Have no clue on BGM or Edgewood. Anyone have incite on them? A quick glance at BGM on quick stats and they aren’t very big. But I know a lot of teams don’t ever update there players weights and heights. Edgewood I’m just clueless on. Saw the Britt V belmond game. Man west Hancock has improved a ton since I last saw them

It’s crazy how the Wapsie Valley vs Garrigan game is pretty much the only game that no one agrees on for the most part! And that game represents 1 half of the ship game in almost all the predictions.

Wapsie Valley vs BG is HUGE game for sure, definitely a semi-final quality match in the first round. I know WV is 7-2 but you can't be fooled by that, they lost to North Tama early in the season which is a very quality team but I'd take WV over them everytime if they ever met up again. Their only other loss comes from a VERY close Hudson game (24-20). I'd watch out for WV pulling off an "upset" this Friday.

I think what gets lost is district 3 is every bit as good as district 7 and Garrigan went undefeated in that district. Both in tough districts but a loss is loss and the playoffs is different animal! Garrigan playing at home and not having to travel over 2 hrs is a big advantage!

I will agree that both Garrigan and West Hancock are two of the best teams in Class A and Belmond Klemme was very a talented team as well. But to me, the thing that made D7 so difficult was not that they had 3 top 10 teams, but rather 5 of the 7 teams were in the top 20. In high school football, especially A, any given week a top 10 team could lose easily lose to a 15 - 20 team. To have to maintain a high level of play week in and week out is what made D7 "the best" - in my opinion. Top 3 to top 3 (D3 to D7) agree, could make a case one way or the other which is stronger, but top to bottom, I think most would agree that D7 wins hands down.
