Post your comments, scores and ideas here for the first round of the districts. Substate 1 games should be wild, right from the start, whereas most get really interesting starting Thursday. Will there be an upset right away? What do you think? Favorites all have home court advantage. What's that worth? 10 points? Are some teams bothered by the flu, injury? Is someone in a shooting slump? Are all opponents scouted, or do some coaches fly by the seat of their pants? And the weather is going to be slippery- going. Biggest thing is for teams and fans to be safe on the highways.

Mount Vernon 60, Dub. Wahlert 57 as 3 pointer rims off at the buzzer. Congrats to MV! 11 three-pointers and a stiff defense wins. Wahlert bows out at 8- 14 with only two sophomore guards returning next year out of their eight-man rotation.
