Who do you consider the top coaches in 3A?
Which programs do you expect more from most seasons? ie. they are under performing.

This is an awesome topic. The good ones, like Kevin Miller will be humble and remind us all that he is only as good as his assistants, his community and administration and of course quality athletes. If these things are in place, when the athletes are young or lacking talent, a team will have a chance. I think you need to include Washington in this discussion. Very young team getting it done. Great staff, community support..... There are also some great coaches out there getting buried that have none of these things.
Miller is someone who does it the right way. Winning is good but lessons in life are more important to him. A class act and a class program.
Ok cidhawkeye and pinehawk good ole Regina Fans you made a point to post that Solon has had issues so give the rest of 3a a little update how many kids, number of games ect..He has been consistent in doing things the right way since he started coaching, he has made some choices that could have been easily avoided and stuck to the programs principals and values.

Only want facts.
Cid, I think you are a bit biased, didn't Miller have his start @ Regina. He has been consistent in doing things the right way since he started coaching, he has made some choices that could have been easily avoided and stuck to the programs principals and values.
Does anyone know how long Solon will "have issues"? Were these issues season ending?
Agree bigfriday. Would be hard pressed to find a coach, or human for that matter, of higher quality then Jay McKinstrey. Pella is very spoiled to have him.
Wonder if those boys will be sitting the rest of the year...Agreed. My respect for him has gone up in the last couple of weeks with the tough decisions he's had to make.
