Not many great games for week 6 in 2A. Here are a few games to watch.

(5-0) New Hampton @ (3-2) Osage
- Osage better be ready for a lot of McShane. 38 carries last week!

(5-0) Spirit Lake vs. (3-2) ELC
- Somewhat of a rivalry game here. Can ELC keep Higgins from having a big game?

--2A Top 10--

1a.) CLGLR (5-0) - Hard to pick between CLGLR and Williamsburg. CLGLR is extremely deep. Even with their best player out for a few weeks they will cruise.

1b.) Williamsburg (5-0) - Williamsburg has played some loaded teams so far and are still undefeated. Loaded team that should cruise to the end of the regular season.

3.) Spirit Lake (5-0) - Spirit Lake with a statement win last week against OABCIG. Looks like they have moved a little more run oriented than previous years.

4.) West Marshall (5-0) -

5.) New Hampton (5-0) -

6.) Dubuque Wahlert (4-1) -

7.) OABCIG (4-1) - Tough loss last week to Spirit Lake. Tough matchup next week against ELC.

8.) West Lyon (3-2) - Has been improving all year. Looks like they will be the #2 out of district 1.

9.) Osage (3-2) -

10.) Estherville LC (3-2) -

Dubuque Wahlert hosts Waukon for the district title this week. Waukon and Wahlert both took it to then top ten ranked NFV in the first two weeks of district play. The winner will be the #1 out of this district and the loser will be the 2 seed with NFV the 3 seed. Wahlert is the heavy favorite here, but so was NFV when Waukon beat them by 3 touchdowns at NFV's homecoming. Waukon seems to be hitting their stride and Wahlert is already running so it should be a good game. New Hampton, Osage, and Cresco will be 1, 2, and 3 in that district and NH is the favorite after beating Cresco last week, but they are one dimensional and rely heavily on McShane so who knows.

I agree Wahlert/Waukon will be a big game. Missed that one.

The two teams I know the least about are West Marshall and New Hampton.

Looks like West Marshall is a little more battle tested.

Osage is technically 4-1, they did beat 1A MFL in a non-district game, but they played a player too many quarters that night, self-reported to the state and were disqualified. They beat MFL by a score of 28-22. MFL also played New Hampton in non-district and NH won 22-19. So if you compare those scores it should be a really tight game between Osage and New Hampton. District title game, Osage passing game vs NH rushing attack. I'll take NH by 6pts, (27-21).
