Monticello is the favorite But who could give them a challenge?

I mentioned in the other thread, I don't think can overtake them, but CMB should be able to climb into the top 5, and maybe a bit higher. They have all but one state qualifier back from last year and a few new possible qualifiers. Two returning state champs, Bryce Kemp in the 110 highs and Zach Samson in the shot. Plus have 2-3 other events where they should be able to score some points, Kemp in a couple of other events, Samson in discus and Patrick Girard in shot. They also have a couple of relays that might be able to get into the points. They should be able to increase the number of qualifiers, just a matter of scoring the points once they get to state.


Again, they were something like 60 points back last year, I don't think they can overcome that. I can definitely see them sneaking into the 3-5 range though. I think they were 9th last year.

Albia has some very nice runners. I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the mix.
