10 districts for A--8 will have 6 teams, 2 will have 7. (62 teams) should be interesting. Hopefully see actual districts later today.

I like the trend toward RPI, but not having some bonus number figured in for beating team up a class or road wins or some kind of blow out / impressive win is going to be an issue, imo

District 4 and district 7 both have 7 teams so this will be a crossover district. Two pretty salty districts with St Ansgar, South Winn, Newman and Nashua in 4 as well as Hudson, East Buchanan, Grundy Center and Wapsie Valley in 7. That will be some interesting crossover games as those 8 teams are all consistent playoff teams. The new rule with RPI wont be an issue with these two districts as it should be pretty high for both districts.

Did the state only take into consideration geography when creating these districts? There is not much competitive balance between districts. District #9 is a buzzsaw with Earlham, St. Alberts, SW Valley, and Avoca

St. Alberts and SWV lose almost everything, Earlham brings back a little but not a ton either.
