Brady Bigley transferred to Regina and will play baseball and football. Wieland hasn't moved over yet. Sounds like there's a pretty good shot of him doing that. If he does, Regina moves from favorite to sure thing.
it would be a pretty big coo if Wieland moved over. Jared Taylor went over 2K in Nate's absence last season and was pretty comfortable in the saddle. Neither will be as strong without Jason Jones for the Lil Hawks, but, hey, that's why they play the game.

Must have been taking notes on how to do that recruiting thing from their friends to the east. Did these guys have to rent an apartment or anything? Or should I just break out the 'it's all within the rules' response I have heard for the past few years?
well we can't exactly put out yard signs or take a full page article in the Press Citizen every year to attract students. That would be illegal recruiting in our world.

It is like breathing, it's required to survive. Not able to pass bond issues to build schools, weight rooms, practice gyms or 1/2 gyms for games.

I have heard about the thread in which you raked the Koenig family through the coals. What kind of person are you? I've know the parents for years and know people in West Branch too. They said it was done legally. The family is all living there and all attending WB schools.
If Begley and/or Wieland play for the Regals in the fall you had better put the rocks down before you try to break the glass house. And the Schooly (sp) kid from Solon who just moved there as well. I can play your game all day.

You may want to check the thread where I "raked" the family and see how accurate that is. Be careful on listening to others opinion on what I have typed. They may have a little bit of bias in their telling of the story or heck they may have me confused with someone else. Either way feel free to show where I did what you said. Good luck on your search.
As far as the transfers feel free to cast all the stones you want, it's all 'legal' just like WB, ICW, BETT etc. I got used to unfounded allegations, rumors and flat out lies years ago, heck maybe it's time for another parent to extort the school and get arrested. Par for the course. Any City transfers at WB?
Keep rooting and celebrating Regina losses. It is who you are.
To me, I don't understand the reasoning behind a kid like Wieland transferring from IC High to Regina. He is going from a free public school that may not have the record of Regina, but competes against better competition to a private school where I assume he will pay a tuition. He already is on the radar in recruiting for many schools, so it will not elevate his recruiting status. If it was a religious move, I understand that, but why wait until you are a senior? Just seems like a strange move to me if true.
It is an interesting choice and it isn't finalized yet and it could just be kids talking like kids. Bigley is in school and we will see if Weiland shows.
