i just hate conferance rematches....they could do it different

Well, if they're going to hold to the self-imposed 125-mile limit, then they can't. Some of these schools are pretty isolated, and to avoid rematches you'd have to have some long bus trips on a school night.

Not to say the state hasn't done that before (I recall a regular season Marshalltown at Sioux City game that was foolishly scheduled on a Thursday a few years back). But if they're going to limit travel within 125 miles, you're locked into some rematches. Frankly, if DCG had been able to beat Glenwood and take D-8 over Harlan, that would have helped prevent a couple of rematches.
