I am staying with Wapsie the whole way. Love the way this group gets after it. I think they will frustrate Garrigan and pull away late for a close win.

This game is a real toss-up for me. It will probably come down to whichever big guy can stay out of foul trouble. I will take Garrigan in a close one.
Great game plan from Wapsie that they executed very well. Bottled up Winkel and forced other guys to make shots. Rosengarten was excellent again and Meyer hit some huge shots. By the way what awesome names this team has, Gunner, Kiks, and Blayde. The 8 seed seemed to get better as the tournament went along and left as champions.
What a run from Wapsie. Needing overtime to win their first district game, to state camps.
Don't think it mattered at all but would be interested to know how a Wapsie Valley graduate was assigned as one of the officials for their district semi-final game against Alburnett. That should NEVER happen. Congrats to Wapsie and Marty on their first state title!!
