Congrats to West Burlington/Notre Dame. They have a great team, and I expect they win the Championship comfortably.
Regals needed to capitalize on their opportunities and just couldn’t today.
Big no call on an obvious handball in the box by BND early could have given the game a different look.
Top Regina midfielder had to leave early in the 2nd half with a broken collarbone (no foul called) which was a big disadvantage as well.
But BND was clinical with their finishing in the box and they were the better team today.

Hope they look to add an additional class soon.

Don’t know the answer, but I’d be interested to see how many of their starters actually attend West Burlington. I know of one. Most of these kids have been playing together for years at SESA.

My son's team beat them in the final their Halloween tournament down there when they were 8th graders in club. Great 3-2 match. I remember this well as I was coaching. Definitely a good club, especially for feeding into a school that size.
