I think Madrid and Ankeny Christian are both teams that can win a game at the Well. Will make an interesting District Final and will be a tougher than it looks substate game for West Fork.

Call me crazy, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Gandview beat ACA and Madrid, then fall short to West Fork. From what I've heard they have been playing pretty well the 2nd half and played up against some tough 2a squads so their record may not be indicative (close game with Treynor). Short bench so foul troubles would be a problem.

I could be wrong, and guess we'll see. That district 12 has 3 pretty solid teams. Top of the state - no, but solid nonetheless.

I would agree I could maybe see them beat Ankeny Christian but I’m not sure if they can beat two very good teams in a row.

I have seen ACA and GVC play once but I feel ACA is just a little better. It's hard to judge based on the small sample size, but I would favor ACA if I had to make a bet.

I watched ACA play St. Albert. If ACA gets hot from 3 they are dangerous and tough to stop. I have not seen GVC play.

They are big rivals, so could/should be a good game. All I know is I've heard Grand view is playing much better the 2nd half of the season compared to the first. Added a good guard 2nd semester. Could be different lineup than if you caught them first half.

Two biggest games tonight were ACA and GVC, and Newell and HLP. Shocked to see Newell lose to HLP. From what I’ve been told, they are pretty awful. Doesn’t really matter though algona garrigan was going to win anyways. ACA with a huge win over GVC. Knocking off the 3 time state champ has to feel great. Will super interested to see who comes out of that substate. If Madrid or Ankeny christan do I would imagine they’d be a lower seed but if west fork makes it, that makes things interesting seeding wise. WACO was so overrated. Ranked 2nd on the AP poll

wapsie valley been playing very well lately and Alburnett isn’t all that great. Could’ve went either way but seeing Alburnett lose wasn’t a huge eye opener. I’d say the WACO loss shocked me knew they were gonna lose but wasn’t so sure it was gonna be this early. Very well great season to them going 22-1.

I think this round there won’t be a ton of upsets because it’s starting to widle down to the top 10 and those teams I feel are very strong and there is a steep drop off after the top 10

I feel the team most likely to get upset is Montezuma. Very close game with Keota in previous meeting and Montezuma has not been beating teams in their district by that much.

If keota is hot they can beat teams that are much better than them with their 3 point shooting, wouldn’t be surprised to see them get past monte and win their substate
