1A/2A Eastern Iowa

Should be another great season for Eastern Iowa in 1A and 2A. Dyersville, Monticello, and NE Gooselake should all be very good in 2A. Is this the year for Monticello to break through and make it to state finally?

North Linn, Jesup, Don Bosco, and Alburnett will be fun to watch in 1A. Will that young North Linn team be able to repeat last year's magic?

Look for West Branch to make a push in the RVC this year

Not sold on West Branch. They weren't a bad team last year, but didn't have a ton of depth and half of their starting lineup last year were Seniors.

I am not sure they have enough returning pitching to compete for the top half of the RVC this year. Pretty much every team (not including West Liberty) in the RVC South has more returning that West Branch.

Look for West Branch to make a push in the RVC this year
