I want to start a master list of those that have gone over the 1,000 point career mark for their varsity high school careers. I know there are a lot more so please reply here.

I guess I thought Luke meant this year's group of seniors going over 1,000 points? Yeah the total list would be long including Kyle Smith of New Hampton and Parker Hesse of Waukon last year. But there would be tons of them.

Jacob Taylor JR of Diagonal will likely get 1000 by the end of the year. Came into the season at 626. Blake Butler SR will be close coming in at 608 but will likely depend on how well they do in conference and district tournaments. Through 6 games Jacob has 119 of the 372 needed.

Colten Connelly went over 1000 for Clayton Ridge last year and Colin Connelly just surpassed the mark this year. Colin is currently averaging 25.2 in the first six games of the year.

That is a list I would like to see.

I can't be certain, but I believe Paige, Barnes, Gatens, Soukup, and others would be possibilities for that list.

S Soukup is the only one over 2k on that list Barnes,Gatens and Paige are in the 1700 range.

Dubuque Senior's McDonnell has some work to do, but if he can average for the year what he is averaging now, he will hit 1000. That would make 3 years in a row for a Dubuque Senior player, (Weeber and Haber) after only having 2 kids reach 1000 in the 100+ year school history (Steele and Blum).

Not sure if that speaks more to the futility of Dubuque Senior's basketball history or the recent success of Coach Eimers.

Lange broke his wrist at the end of football season. He will be returning to Lenox's lineup shortly after they return from Christmas break.

According to a newstory I just read, current Keokuk senior Jonny Dahl is sitting at 999 career points. No idea who or if anyone else Keokuk would have at 1000 points for their history.
