Your summer Class 2A champion prediction is.......

Hard to pick one team as I don't think there's a clear front-runner in 2A this year.
I think the elite teams might be: Union, Beckman, Albia, NFV
Also watch out for: Hampton-Dumont, Clarinda, Spirit Lake, Sioux Center, South Tama, and Williamsburg

I know that's a lot of teams but I couldn't pick one or two teams and say they are the clear favorites.

I agree there were a lot of teams who were young last year that were good.

One team you forgot is CMB they played a ton of sophomores last year.

North Fayette Valley will repeat as champions. They will be extremely overlooked after a great senior class has graduated. This team had a lot of depth last year and many players had a lot of experience due to several lopsided games last year. They may struggle early in the year but they will be dangerous in the playoffs. I am very excited to see the NFV vs Beckman game, too.

Yes you are correct about CMB. I knew I was forgetting a team!

I would say NFV or Albia. Don't sleep on South Tama either. Albia and South Tama were very Junior dominated last year and are both very physical teams.
