Dowling and Valley? It seems that there's a real drop-off in talent between those two teams and the No 3 team. I'm guessing it will be Centennial and maybe a team from outside the DSM area (Ames, Lewis Central).

It in all honesty depends on the draw, last year Lewis Central and Johnston were able to sneak past the Ankeny schools but that was by far the more favorable draw, than Waukee and SE Polk who I would have said were just as good of teams.

My best guess for this year would be Lewis Central and Centenial, but all of the contenders have holes to fill, so whoever makes the biggest strides by the end of October will be the winner.

lewis central will have probably one of the better qbs in 4a, ,,even as a sophmore...max duggan, coaches son, is allready being looked at by div 1 schools....he is projected as #8 dual threat qb for 2019 class
