Who is the best in-state HS player that you have seen within this class over the last ten years that did not go Division I?

Blake Gimbel- Marshalltown
Dalton Ferch- West Marshall
Jake Greco- North Fayette
Wes Burnside- LPC Union
Trenton Solsma- SC Heelan
Kelvin Clark- Waterloo East
Alex Young- Waterloo West

These are a few recent ones and some can still go D1.

Eric May of Wahlert would have been a monster at tight end at Iowa, if he would have chosen to go that route.

He was such a ridiculous athlete. Never gets the credit he deserves,

Eric May would have been a monster at QB for Iowa! Every bit as athletic as Derby, but could throw the ball all over the field.

Deondre Alexander was another West player that had the talent to play D1 football. Just wish he didn't have such a tough upbringing and made some better choices ...he could have been phenomenal
