I know coaches are able to nominate 2 players each year for the Shrine Bowl, but it has always been my understanding that only one player from each team could actually be selected to play. I see that both Woodbury and Regina have 2 players this year. Has this always been a possibility?

Pretty sure a kicker or punter can be from any school, even one that already has another player selected.

I would guess that twins from Woodbury are special exception that was made, but that is only a guess.

I would say that it happens every few years that a school gets two players in the shrine bowl, its not the first time it has happened.
