The annual coaches & officials convention is October 27 & 28. They should be released the following week.

I see the Iahsaa has released the list of wrestling schools. Algona is listed as 3A with 382 kids and Glenbrook-Reinbeck is 2A at 408 kids. Is that a misprint? Also, I couldn't find Janesville in the list, not even in a sharing arrangement. Did they officially drop wrestling?

Jainsville kids can wrestle for Waverly-Shell Rock, not sure how long this has been going on. Atleast the last 6 years for sure.

In the past, Algona has had kids from North Kossuth wrestle for them. I'm wondering if the list just omitted North Union from the coop on the enrollment figure but got the class right.

When North Kossuth combined with Armstrong-Ringsted and formed North Union, Algona had to add the AR enrollment and that put them in 3A
