Coach Wieck has resigned according to Jared Patterson.

Not really that surprising, he retired from teaching a couple of years ago, and think he was getting tired of some of the things going on in Clear Lake, and honestly some in Clear Lake may have been getting tired of him.

Wouldn't surprise me to see him try coaching down south or something.

His resignation has to do with his son Rudy being hired as the new head coach at Storm Lake. Fred stated in his resignation a desire to help his son build a program.

Storm Lake will be a big challenge, but they do have some big talented young kids. Best of luck to him will be interesting to see what he can do.
