In the HOIAC, the girls will be a tough competition at the top with Gilbert, North Polk and CMB all being likely state qualifiers in their respective classes. The Same schools could be the top three in the boys, though CMB may not be a state qualifier.
The CMB girls just missed state last year in a wicked district, return their top 6 runners and add a ranked transfer (Ashlee Johnson from West Marshall) and a FR who was top 10 in Jr High State last year. Should be top 5 by districts. The boys top 4 will be good, just need to find a consistent 5th runner to keep their scores low.
