Which 3A QB would you want running your team?

I personally think there are some very good QB's in 3A this year, who would you want to start for your team if you were a coach.

For me it comes down to Schulte vs. Brandsfield, I give a slight advantage to Brandsfield because I think he is a little more mobile, and I am not sure how Schulte would do in another system since he has probably been running his current system since he was in the womb.

Ryan Reighard led the state (all classes) in total offense through week 6 (until his injury)

No surprise, since obviously I am a Norwalk guy, and a Brady Brandsfield fan....
Brady has been a 4 year starter in a spread offense and like everyone else has missed some games due to injuries. Concussion as a soph, separated shoulder and torn meniscus as a junior, and ankle sprains as a senior, but you can't really argue with:

Career passing yards: 8800
Career combined passing and rushing yards: 11,163
Career pass completions: 666
Career TD passes: 91
(and counting.)

Reighard is certainly a great QB, but he struggled against Solon (which is understandable) and Keokuk (which is not so understandable. Osky put 61 on the board at Keokuk with Arnold having 337 yards and 6 TD's passing the following Friday). Had a combined 5 picks and only 1 TD in those two games. Granted, ran for about 150 yards in each game, but he had some throwing issues there and laying an egg against Keokuk kinda kills his chances, at this point, for top QB in the 3A, in my opinion.

I would include in my top 5; Brandsfield (Norwalk), Molinsky (Carroll), Finney (Pella), Schulte (Xavier), and Griffis (Solon). It's no coincidence that they are in the playoffs. Griffis actually has the highest QB rating, but doesn't run much. Brandsfield, surprisingly, has the lowest QB rating of the 5, but will virtually hold every passing record and is a very good runner. Finney is the biggest dual threat of the 5. Schulte and Molinsky are both very solid and just win. Obviously you can't just go by stats as one of the top throwers in the state, stat wise, is Howard from Grinnell and they finished 1-8.

Lots of intangibles at the QB spot. If I had to pick one I would probably go with Brandsfield due to his experience and being a great dual threat. But, I'd take any of them for my team.

Sorry. Forgot for a second they moved to 4A this year. The school has a vote coming up very soon as to whether they join the Mississippi Valley Conference to balance the addition of Liberty High.

After the semi-final game I would think Finney would have some fans. 3 picks, but to lead the last 45secs to victory, was impressive.

Finney was huge on Thursday night. That next-to-last play, he rolled away from pressure, had two defenders hitting him as he chucked the ball away - and he still found his man down the sideline for 26 yards. Then, to coolly line up as the clock was running and fire the winning pass with zeroes on the clock ... that's clutch.
