^ Well, there’s certainly an endless supply of sewage in DC.
Or they could use that money to build reliable power production facilities and perhaps avoid blackouts due to people charging their toy vehicles.
I don't think wind turbines are reliable enough, at least for a country this size. Your waste plant comment has a lot of merit, though. Between creating energy and a fertilizer product, that would be a great source for alternative sources of energy. We are discounting the idea that we can flip a switch from fossil fuels to “green” energy, as our commie friends in California are trying to do. Even 2035 is pushing it. I’d love to flip a switch and cut over tomorrow too - but energy shortages and higher costs for everything will follow if we fook this up.

As I said … many times here…I’m all for compact nuclear plants such as the type used on aircraft carriers. That would be a great idea except for the risk of a booster explosion on the pad. It’s happened too many times to take that risk. AEC won’t declassify them. They override even POTUS authority.
