That's what we get to look forward to
we need more wind turbines,
I don't think wind turbines are reliable enough, at least for a country this size. Your waste plant comment has a lot of merit, though. Between creating energy and a fertilizer product, that would be a great source for alternative sources of energy. I still think nuclear is the best option, but I don't think that most people would be on board with that.As I said… we need more wind turbines, solar arrays and conversion of sewage to bio-methane.
Our first THP plant at Washington DC Blue Plains plant alone generates 14 MW / day from sewage and produces a waste product of pasteurized fertilizer.
Nobody here is discounting alternative energy. As I said… we need more wind turbines, solar arrays and conversion of sewage to bio-methane.

We are discounting the idea that we can flip a switch from fossil fuels to “green” energy, as our commie friends in California are trying to do. Even 2035 is pushing it. I’d love to flip a switch and cut over tomorrow too - but energy shortages and higher costs for everything will follow if we fook this up.
Exactly. @David_Dennison is this what you want to see in the US? Yes/noExperts blame green energy policies for Europe's full-scale energy crisis: 'A warning to the US'
Europe's aggressive transition from fossil fuels to green energy sources like wind and solar have exacerbated its current energy crisis, forcing prices higher.www.foxbusiness.com

As I said … many times here…I’m all for compact nuclear plants such as the type used on aircraft carriers. That would be a great idea except for the risk of a booster explosion on the pad. It’s happened too many times to take that risk. AEC won’t declassify them. They override even POTUS authority.I would be. Fire them fvckers up. Pay Elon to launch the heavy AF Rubik's Cube sized waste towards the sun and set your AC's to 67° while charging your toy cars.
What does this have to do with overpriced, limited supply electric cars, overloaded power grids and banning conventional cars in the same day? Are you suggesting running cars on Washington turds? As I said… we need more wind turbines, solar arrays and conversion of sewage to bio-methane.
