I don't think anyone expected Western Christian to beat Emmetsburg, especially by 20.

Emmetsburg football if fading into irrelevance. They were an averge team and when the strating QB/S went out on the opening kickoff they became below average. Sloppy play (missed assignments, turnovers, poor tackling etc.) which has become too common continued in this one. The toughness seems to be gone, quick to hang their heads. WC could find an open guy to throw to on most any play. They lose a bunch of starters and next years seniors are almost non existant with only about 8 guys even out and only 2 who really did anything this year. WC had the better looking athletes, way more speed and skill.
