What teams in this class do you feel will finish the regular season ......

Maquoketa Valley

Maquoketa Valley has the best chance or on paper at least, Montezuma has the toughest road, but my guess is that these 5 will all get it done.
AGWSR has a good shot, but I am giving G-R the slight advantage in their matchup

1. Maq Valley
Remaining schedule with a combined record of (5-15) where each week the opponent's record gets a little worse. Add this schedule to the talent on their roster and it equals (9-0).
2. Lo-Ma
Remember when everybody picked CBSA over them? That was a statement game and the statement is they're for real.
3. Pekin
They haven't played any great teams, but they won't play any great teams before the playoffs either. As the trend is in class A (weak schedule)+(talented team)=(9-0).
4. Montezuma/Belle Plaine
Winner of this game still has to face BGM who hasn't looked great to date. I'd be willing to pencil the winner into the (9-0) district title slot. Pencil, not Pen.
6. AGWSR
The G-R game is the reason they are all the way at #6. Talent, check. Easy schedule, not so much. The talent keeps them in the hunt above the rest though.
7. Nashua Plainfield
The West Hancock game could prove to be a tough one for them, but the real test (no offense to Britt) comes the week after against St. Ansgar.
8. Bedford
Bedford has to play at Mount Ayr who has beat them 5 out of the past 6 years. It's possible to catch Mount Ayr distracted by the homecoming celebration and sneak out of there with a W. If they do that, the rest of the schedule is not an issue.
9. Sloan Westwood
They are at the final spot and it has nothing to do with talent. Final three games are home against Audobon, at St. Albert, and home against Lo-Ma. Have fun with that.
