What team had the most impressive victory - 10/2?

Have to say that I've never witnessed Pella manhandle Carlisle like they did last night. Usually they have very close, competitive games. Pella was up 42-0 at halftime and moved the ball at will. Had 366 yards at halftime and shutdown the Carlisle running game. Pella's "d" isn't as strong as last year, but I think the offense is looking stronger as they are so fast and spread the field. The pass and run are both effective and dangerous on every down in about any situation. Pella seems to be finding their rhythm.

Not downtalking either Pella or Carlisle but I'm not sure Friday's game was much of a stock riser for Pella. Yes they did have their way with Carlisle 42-7 but DCG beat up Carlisle 39-6 earlier this year before getting flattened themselves at home by the Dutch 37-7. Carlisle also lost a closer game to Norwalk this year whom also were beaten by Pella 21-0.

Carlisle did manage to hold the Dutch to their fewest points scored last year in an impressive 17-6 loss but you can look at the last four meetings between the two and Pella is 4-0 with 42-7, 17-6, 44-7, 35-7 wins.

Pella and Carlisle both performed about as I expected Friday.

Stick, I'm not surprised that Pella did beat Carlisle. I have watched Pella and Carlisle battle it out for the last 15 years it seems and they are generally very tough, physical games. The 35-7 game 3 seasons ago was much closer then the score indicated. The 44-7 game was lopsided. Last year's game was a tossup until late in the 4th quarter when Pella scored their only offensive TD to make it more then a one score game. My point was that Pella played their best half of the season and it is unusual to see Pella do that against Carlisle especially when reflecting on last year's game and the general history between the two teams. If Pella continues to play at that level, they will be very tough out.
