Right now not knowing anything about Mt Vernon and just looking at stats I say Mediapolis wins by 2 td's. I think it's a good match up for Mediapolis. The second round if they win will be a different story.

Stats can be misleading. I look at Mepo's SOS, which was one of the weakest in 2A this year. They squeaked out wins the last two weeks as well. The question may be which Mepo team shows up; if the one shows up that has been playing the last couple of weeks they will likely lose.

Mepo's strength of schedule is always bad as the rest of SE Iowa hasn't been very good lately so I wouldn't always go by that as it can be misleading as well. But you're right if the Mepo of last 2 weeks shows up it'll be a dog fight but otherwise I think they win. Call me a homer of you want, just my honest opinion.

Your right Mepo hasn't been very impressive last two games. They have been lucky last two weeks but luck plays into your year too.

Almost had to eat your words. AP's running back was injured from last week so who knows how this game could've ended differently. Had to go all one dimensional with Duster. 50 carries for 257 yards

AP definitely played their best game of the season and almost pulled it off. Would have been awesome to see D6 pull out 3 wins.
