Has to be the Davenport West Falcons! Two wins in a row, When was the last time that happened? I think 2005. By beating North and Central that means they are the City Champion. Great Job West High!
Clinton River Kings
First 2-0 start since 2009...... New coach, new Offence scores 83 in the first 2 games and Defense holds opponents to 24. Tougher tests ahead but clicking well right now
Davenport West. Just so happy to see a Davenport school (other than Assumption) not be horrible at football. We have had some real down years.
It must be the new Uniforms !! Both Clinton and Davenport West are sporting the NEW Adidas Techfit football uniforms this season. !!
Davenport West! New uni's make a difference. Kinda like when your where a kid and got new shoes you thought you could run faster. Good to see them winning some games. Has to be great for the school and fans
Slow your roll. All they have done is beat the other two Davenport public schools. Will likely finish 3-6 and no playoffs.
We'll see how they do in their first road game at Waterloo West, an old Big 8 matchup.
The thing I was impressed with is how efficient Fort Dodge has been to start the season. Granted SC West and North are down but Fort Dodge had the size and ability to do pretty much whatever they wanted and they executed for the most part.
As long as they can stay healthy and keep performing at a high level, this is gonna be a team to watch throughout the season.
