No West Hancock? That’s very bold.

You do realize west Hancock was Runner up a year ago and there entire line and backfield are back.

WH lost to Hudson in the semis last year but like you said, they brought back a wealth of talent and experience from that team.

I would say leaving West Hancock out was one of two things. It was either a simple oversight, or they were intentionally left out to get people to comment even though they are one of the top teams in the class.

These message boards have become a ghost town.

Or showing he shouldn’t include rankings... literally just throwing darts at a map. He doesn’t know

Highland is not #2. Saw them play Alburnett friday. 32-21 F. Highland brought alot of their team back from last year and I thought they'd win D6. Was not as impressed as I expected to be. Decent team, maybe fringe top 10, but not top 2 / top 5 unless class A is West Hancock and the rest are completely average?

I would assume it's an oversight, if he leaves off West Hancock while putting Garrigan in there after both teams played and had different results against Emmetsburg.....

I was at the dome and watched Britt West Hancock play Hudson last fall. Hudson couldn't stop Britts running game, if I remember correctly Britt lost 2-3 fumbles in the first half and were driving to win the game in the 4th quarter and fumbled inside the the 10 yd line. Most of those backs from Britt are back (Hagen, Hagen, Smith) and the line was mostly juniors. They are the #1 team until someone beats them in my opinion and I have no friends or family around Britt, my opinion is strictly from watching that game against Hudson.

It should be noted, injuries happen. And unfortunately for Britt/WH Tate Hagen was injured in the quarterfinals and missed most of that game and tried giving it a go during the semis. Cole Kelly stepped in and played well but just didn’t have the experience that Tate has. If i was a betting man I’d imagine if WH stays healthy, they could possibly be playing the 3rd week in November for all the marbles. But that’s why they play the season.

Very unfortunate. Injuries are a sad truth to football. Staying healthy and getting hot at the right time are very important. West Hancock played there best football at the end of the year, but injuries and a few unlucky plays hampered what would most likely have been a state title. Although it is worth mentioning that they had the easiest road to the dome of all 4 teams
