Luke you may want to look at SE Polks record again. CR Pairie may be ranked to High and may want to consider adding CR Kennedy in Top 10, just my opinion

I am wondering why Newton isn't ranked in the rankings? Newton is 6-0. Newton somehow squeaked by Fort Dodge in a wild affair. But, they already equalled their total number of wins from last season. Newton rushed 58 times for 554 yards. Cardinals had 667 yards of total offense to Dodgers' 659 in week 6. Newton has outscored their opponents 325 to 159.

Southeast Polk still being ranked is laughable as they are 3-3 overall and 1-1 in the district. Southeast Polk doesn't have the team this year for a run to the championship game.

Newton needs to be ranked. They are filthy. If Newton beats Southeast Polk next week and beats Valley or keeps it close to Valley and still isn't ranked I will be shaking my head in disbelief.

They have played NOBODY other then Fort Dodge the only wins their opponents only wins are against each other 2-28 and 5-31 overall. They will lose their final 3 games and finish 6-3.

Yup. They have a solid offense, sure, but it's not enough to beat the more complete teams in the rankings. Even SE Polk, who may be down this year, has more talent than the likes of Newton and Fort Dodge. That's why 5A needs to happen.

Both Newton and Fort Dodge have great and explosive offenses for the high school level, but they still struggle to score and compete with a Valley, Johnston, SE Polk or even Waukee.
