Great work! It should be interesting to see how things play out for South Tama. Clayton Rosenberger went down with an unfortunate injury last week against East Marshall, so Darius Lasley will be taking over the quarterback duties. Great athlete, so their shouldn't be a drop off if any. Going to be a good post season in 2a!

Hey Kaki, re: your post on South Tama. We're talking 2A here. The loss of a good athlete has to have an impact as you likely have to pull a good athlete out of their spot to fill the vacated position. I'm sure S Tama has a good team with a lot of good athletes, but hard to imagine no impact.

After rereading the post, I understand what you're saying and I didn't mean to downplay the injury as to say they'll be completely fine without Rosenberger, because now they'll be taking a starting reciever and moving him to QB which does leave another hole to be filled by another athlete. I was just implying that the loss wouldn't be as significant compared to for example, if Jerry Lowe or Bubba Rutledge had gotten hurt on either side of the ball. Hopefully Rosenberger heals up quickly and everyone stays healthy all around the state! I'll be heading to the STC vs AP game this Friday.

Rosenberger was probably the 11th best person South Tama put on the field when on offense, not saying that it won't be a bit of an adjustment for them, but they could be better with Lasley back there.

Lowe didnt play last week either and has been battling injuries all season so not sure if he will play this Friday or try to heal up for the playoffs. Not sure if being the first seed is more important than being at full strength next wednesday.

I know a few starters sat out last week to heal up and to prevent any injury. So I am wondering what they'll do this week, as your statement has plenty of sense to it. I discussed with an opponent of STC's and talked about the injury Jerry Lowe suffered earlier in the year and has been nagging him all year and they were shocked and stated he was all over the field the previous night.

That was all I was implying. I know both players personally, and Darius is taller which is usually an advantage for any QB. Should be interesting to see how it all plays out in the end!

Darius is a great athlete no doubt but you lose him as your number one receiver and definitely your best deep threat! ST doesnt throw all that much with a run first mentality. If Lowe plays they like to grind it out and take time off the clock in the process, if he doesnt play Darius and the passing game could become very important going forward!

I think in this scenario it does. Whoever is the #2 seed more than likely end up play Albia second round. Whoever the #1 team is wouldn't meet Albia until the Finals (Assuming Albia makes it that far and assuming either ST or AP make it that far on the other side).

Well I guess if you think you are good enough to win it all then you are not scared of Albia in the second round or whenever. I get what your saying but I am guessing both of these teams would tell you they can beat Albia, NFV, Spirit Lake or whoever you put in front of them! Not cocky, just confident.

Definitely agree.
