Agree that West Lyon should be heavily favored.
They are a complete package this year.
Western has several of their key players still out, but still managing to find ways to win. Guys are stepping up out of the shadows. RB Granstra is still out for Western, but soph Habben is doing a nice job.
My guess is both sides will assume they're going to meet again in post-season, so will try not to show much tonight. Bad weather forecast & they've moved game up to a 6:00 kickoff.

I agree with you Vander. With Granstra still out for this game, I think WL will feel they can win it without having to play all their cards. I look for them to keep things pretty basic and just pound the ball. That may keep the game a little closer..maybe. Granstra being out has forced WC to go to a more balanced attack and the passing game has really improved. Harmsen is getting more comfortable throwing the ball and is getting on track with his receivers. Habben has been doing a nice job but is only a Soph. He hits the holes well but gets shoe string tackled a lot. You can tell he doesn't have the strength to consistently break tackles. While I hate to have Granstra missing time because he is so much fun to watch, I think getting these younger kids serious playing time will really pay dividends come playoffs and next season. Regardless of the outcome tonight, I think we'll be in for a very entertaining game should a playoff rematch come to pass.
