My Picks:
Iowa Falls - Good ND match-up. Both teams are 1-4, but Iowa Falls has played the tougher schedule. I'll take IF.
South Hardin - South Hardin should win this match-up by 2 scores.
South Tama - South Tama will win easily and likely see a running clock.
Union - This match-up puts the last two undefeated district teams head-to-head and likely will decide the district title. I have Union by 2 scores.

Might be a little shaky on the Iowa Falls game. I wonder how much the tight game loss plays on the Cadets for this week. Could be a let down week for them but will still pick them based on potential. Game of the week has to be the AP Union game. District title could be determined Friday night.

I'm switching my Iowa Falls vs. Webster City pick; have to go with Webster City. After looking closer at WC's schedule they have played some very tough 3A competition. I'll take WC in a close one.

AP vs Union is definitely the game of the week. Just trying to change things up from everyone else. AP is going to have a handful stopping Union on defense but I do think they are starting to click with the new offense. Mostly a two horse backfield between Duster and Ubben. Brungard has been consistent throwing the ball the last couple weeks. Defensively is where I think they will struggle. Secondary got burned a lot last week by IFA and Union has a lot more weapons offensively with Vaughn/Driscol/Hadachek/Bear. Both teams have shown they can win close games. Gonna take AP in a nail biter

Good point about AP's new offense; they have learned week-to-week and I agree are getting better and more familiar with it. Union is in a similar boat from the standpoint that so many sophomores are starting or getting significant playing time for them; those sophomores have been getting better each week and learning as the season progresses. The coaching staffs have great respect for each other. Glad to see the district championship likely come down to this game.

I just wish it could be the last game of the season! Two years ago when AP vs DNH played for the district title in week 9 was the best high school football atmosphere I've ever seen

Because I have no life, I'm going to try to pick this week against the BC Moore spread. With 1 point given to a home team.

Webster City -20 at IFA Even minus the points, take the Lynx
South Hardin -43 at EM Huge spreads are tough to take with the rolling clock rule, take East Marshall
South Tama -41 at RS Ditto, take the Norse
Union -22 at AP I'm not sold on AP, take Union, they will even cover a 22 point spread.
