Week 2 thoughts and Week 3 Games to Watch

Week 2 Thoughts:

-Not knowing much about NE Iowa, I was shocked to see Central Lose. Midland is a good team by all accounts, but I think this proves just how much better Don Bosco is that everyone else on that side of the state.
-Bedford showed for the 2nd week in row, that they look to be a real contender.
-Newell bounced back with a dominating win over Glidden Ralston
-GTRA looks again to be a more balanced and tough team this year, even without Girres.

Definately agree with Murray and East Union being a game to watch this week! Murrays gonna need another huge game from Jack Jones and Dustin Teas! I don't know a whole lot about East Union but if Jones and Teas have another big game together which I think they will I see East Union standing little to no chance. If East Union shuts them two down they'll win if they don't Murray will win. I'll take Murray to win and move to 3-0 and 1-0 in district 6

I'll be in Springville to watch my Lions take on the Orioles in a District 4 opener. Lone Tree & Springville are the two D4 teams who survived non-district play unblemished. Obviously there is a lot of season to go, but this will be a big first step for the victor.
