Any insight on any games? The Wapsie game was a typical rivalry game if you ask me. Wapsie did struggle for most the game besides a few big plays but we all know playing a rival it’s always dangerous. A few Games had me surprised. The margin of loss (not the loss itself) by st alberts really suprised me. Anything note worthy from any games happen?

St. Ansgar beat Osage 42-32. They were in controll most of the game. Osage returned the opening kickoff and had a long touchdown pass their next drive that put them up 12-7. . St ansgar took controll after that using their usual run up the middle read option strategy and controlled the time of possession. Osage scored with 8 seconds left to make the final score closer.
From what I saw osage was a big fan of heaving the ball in the general direction of their receivers and hoping they came down with it. Osage has some good players and very well could cause some upsets in 1a with their style of play. St. Ansgar had some nice 4th down pass conversions.

That is also a rivalry game, so I would not use them as a basis for comparing teams. Teams usually play much better against rivals
I was a little shocked edco did not beat starmont by more. They are one of the worst teams in the state if not the worst. I know they won by 40, but it was just an observation. The st Alberts score is somewhat surprising. I was expecting them to lose all but one non district game
The. St alberts game was closer than the score indicated. a td that was called back by a non rule from the ref who mis-interpenetrated the rules negated a 28-21 ball game with 7 mins to go......
also treynor scored a td with 1:48 to go on St.Alberts 2nd team D....pretty classless move. They'll take an early exit again to a team up north from the playoffs in 1a.
st albert will be just fine in their class.
