Best Picks of the Week: The biggest upsets this week were, in my opinion, scored by Winfield-Mount Union, New London, and Gladbrook-Reinbeck but none of us predicted them..I thought Missouri Valley, East Sac, Pekin, and MFL Mar-Mac were all good picks: all of them underdogs according to BC Moore. Each of these were chosen by 2 or 3 individuals; Thepooc picked 3 out of these 4 upsets.

Pick that did not look so good Saturday morning: To say that Ace0162 was wrong about predicting Mason City Newman to beat Fort Dodge St. Edmond is somewhat of an understatement.

That was in the reply where I list BC Moore's predictions for the week (indicated by the heading at the top of the reply); third reply in the week 2 contest thread. My personal picks are in the 7th reply of the contest thread, after CraigsNews' reply.

However, BC Moore actually did not predict Newman to win that game. That was a careless error on my part when I transposed his picks to the contest thread. BC Moore's weekly and cumulative standings reflect the this fact. That is, I tallyed up his won/loss record after I discovered the error. Therefore his standings as published are correct and accurate.

I will make BC Moore's picks more obvious in the contest threads from now on.
