I can understand the argument. I kept them out for the reason of their offense. They obviously have a talented running back returning and a good receiver but losing Cornwell at QB is a huge loss. To me until they prove they can move the ball through the air, they will stack the box. Defensively West Branch will be very tough. Can they score enough points? We will see after the first few weeks. If they are deserving they will make their way in and up the rankings.
West Liberty lost Feldman who was their #1 rusher and passed for 1646 yards. They lost their second leading rusher, 4 OL.
Didn't stop you from ranking them #7 in 2A.
Oh by the way WB beat WL 32-6 in 2018.
I am not a WB guy, but it seems like you place way too much on Beau Cornwell. Butch is in his 419th year of coaching. You don't think he understands what "loading up the box" means? You don't think the Bears have ever had to replace a QB before? Tanner Lukavsky rushed for 1300 yards last year (10.1 yd per carry). He isn't exactly chopped liver.

That's a pretty big spread lol. If it was on my William Hill book it would be very tempting.

^^That right there. I'm a numbers guy, or I try to be anyway. Even though I have a team I'm rooting for, I'm not out making bold predictions based on solely emotion. So, when I looked at team strength returning this year, the one glaring hole at WB caught my eye, but I immediately tempered that with "the Butch factor." Love him or hate him, you have to admit he doesn't come into anything unprepared. Sometimes plans don't work out, but I'm guessing he has a pretty good plan for this season. Now they have to actually play the games.
I just dislike Regina and the private school rules they can get by with that public schools cannot. You sit there and bust a public school's balls over a few kids moving in now and again when your school is entirely open enrollment and recruited.
Also the only fun topic around here is WB and Regina. I sure hope they play this season. You can bet your ass I'll be there wearing red and cheering for Bears. They whooped us when they played our team in HS, same as Regina did in the playoffs my senior year at Clayton Ridge. But WB people I've met have been pretty classy.
