Absolutely, dude. I got the scoreboard, every week...in 4A anyway. And God willing, as long as I'm alive and coherent with the ability to type, about Week 4 I'll start putting out the Screwloose Power Rating. And of course, after Week 5, the 4A Playoff Number Cruncher will return for the umpteenth year.

If the scoreboard isn't up by Friday, because there's always a Thursday game, you can assume something is wrong. tylercoan and KidSilverHair, who frequents this site are friends of mine on Facebook, they could pass along any unfortunate notes of my demise if such situation happened to occur.

A deluge, with lightning, at the Loras College Rock Bowl in Dubuque. Dub. Senior totally dominating Dub. Wahlert at 21-0 midway through the 2nd- in every phase of the game. Considerably bigger and faster and more aggressive than the 3A Eagles. Don't know if the game will resume or not.

This surprises me. A lot. Most of the word I heard on Senior was not very good this year. Only 2 or 3 wins. Does Senior look that good or is Wahlert down this year?

Some (me included) thought Wahlert would be a much improved team this year, but (even though it was only a quarter and a half) Senior looks strong like they did two years ago. They have an absolutely huge line, a great kicker and they seem noticeably faster than the Eagles at all skill positions. Tall QB Lee Bonifas surprised me with how well he can pass and run.. Doesn't get any easier for Wahlert which hosts Hempstead next week, and here again the word is that the Mustangs may be the best team in the city. Now, I don't know. The Rams just looked very impressive during the time that I saw them play in the first half.. ....ADDENDUM-- after rain delays which totaled 2 hours, 30 minutes in all, Wahlert roared back to tie the game at 21- 21 behind Riley Hasken's 235 yards rushing, but Senior regrouped and finished like they began to win 42-21, not too long before the midnight hour.
