ADM, Adel @ Carroll
ADM, Adel is looking for a good weather day and gets it. Carroll will have a game plan of keeping their offense on the field. Look for Carroll to move on.
Assumption, Davenport @ Solon
The Spartans are gelling, clicking, etc. The Knights have had an inconsistent season. The Knights have a weakness that matches up with Solon's strength. The Knights have to knock back the Spartans right out of the gate to win, and the Spartans have been getting out of the gate very well. Spartans move ahead.

Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley @ Sergeant Bluff-Luton- same district
Rinse and repeat. Sergeant Bluff-Luton wins again in a game that is really tough on radio announcers.

Charles City @ Xavier, Cedar Rapids
Xavier wins, but continues to have a season marked by high expectations and slightly lower realities. The Saints are still making significant mental errors late in the season, not typical of them. Formations, penalties, fundamentals...maybe their minds will sharpen with the playoffs, but maybe not.

Epworth, Western Dubuque @ Waverly-Shell Rock
Who will show up? I think the Bobcats bring their A game and upset WSR.
[/I]
Fairfield @ Pella
Pella will knock the aura off of Fairfield with repeated blows from their defense. Look for two lips to be swollen as Pella moves ahead. Bad puns are ageless!
[/I]
Gilbert @ Humboldt
Of course Humboldt. The drama might be finding the field.
[/I]
Greene County @ Creston
Creston rolls.
[/I]
Independence @ Washington
Controversy with dismissal of male and female for unspecified reasons? Check. QB for other team difficult to defend? Check. Look for Washington to win and Independence to not repeat any West Delaware magic.
[/I]
Knoxville @ Dallas Center-Grimes
DCG gets out in front and stays there.
[/I]
Newton @ Clear Creek-Amana
Speed kills in the playoffs and CCA has speed and that funny grass too. Newton is used to the funny grass, but not the speed.

Norwalk @ Bondurant-Farrar
I gotta go with the team with the most points at the end of the game in this matchup only a mother could love.

Spencer @ Bishop Heelan Catholic, Sioux City-same district
Six weeks ago this wasn't very close. Ditto on the result now.

Wahlert, Dubuque @ West Delaware, Manchester
Could this be the monster upset? No. Wahlert doesn't play full games, You need to play full out for the whole game to win in the playoffs.
[/I]
Webster City @ Ballard
Ballard, of course. No reason, no knowledge and no real imagination left in this poste.

Winterset @ Carlisle
Carlisle is gritty and tough and wins this one. Matchups matter looking ahead.
