The War Eagle had a huge graduation of talent from the 2019/20 season.

3 headed beast, no more?

West Sioux - Dekkers, Lynott, Walsh, (older)Coppock all graduated. What's left? Will younger Coppock be able to turn the page? Will the non-existent role players from last year be able to step into a starting spot?

RSM - Floor general Spencer Schorg graduated along with Waldschmitt, Ricke, and big man Homan. They have reloaded in the past and they return solid pieces and I believe they will still be quite competitive.

South O'Brien - Lose their top 5 scorers. Unknown to me how their JV was - Solid freshman big man last year will have to step in to a big role this season.

The rest?

Akron-Westfield - Graduate two starting Seniors and have heard that their two best overall players last year have moved away - no evidence of this though.

Gehlen Catholic - Bring back most of their scoring. Very talented guard play. Playing without Kraft last season hurt - as well as a few out most of the year for disciplinary actions. Will be at the top of the conference this season if all are healthy and playing.

Harris Lake Park - Graduate their by-far best player in Ihnen as well as their beef in the middle but bring back a speedster guard in Sohn. Should have solid all around guard play again. No idea if any size is coming up.

Hartley Melvin Sanborn - Interesting team to me - has the makeup of being a conference contender bringing back good size and their freshman guard getting a year older.

Hinton - Fast paced offense brings back their 22ppg player in Holmes but lose their #2 guy to graduation. Played a lot of guys off of the bench in their fast paced game so should be able to make up for the losses in graduation.

MMCRU - Brings back everyone to a team that still struggled last year but was more competitive than recent years. A year of experience and growth could help this squad get over the hump.

Trinity Christian - Tough losses to graduation in the front and back courts for this squad. A couple solid pieces still hang around and if they can fill the holes could compete in an overall down war eagle.

Unity Christian - Loses their best player and shooter but brings back a ton of size and experience. Going to be tough to beat in the war eagle.

Way too early predictions:
1. Unity Christian
2. Gehlen Catholic
3. Remsen St. Mary's
4. South O'Brien
5. Hartley Melvin Sanborn
6. Hinton
7. West Sioux
8. MMCRU
9. Harris Lake Park
10. Trinity Christian
11. Akron Westfield
