With conference play getting underway let's get some discussion started. Who is everyone's pick to be at the top this year. I will go with Poky and GTRA near the top.

Pocy should win easy, really see no one who can keep up with them. GTRA, Manson, and Southeast Valley all have stud players in Geelan, Johnson, and Conrad respectively, but Pocy has 3 with Roetman, Youngburg, and Davidson. Just don't see Pocy losing!!!!!

Not sure I would say they were pounded. Webster City went on a nice run in the 3rd Qtr to open up a double digit lead after it was a 5 pt game at half. 4th qtr was one pt difference so I wouldn't say that is considered a pounding. Webster City has a very nice ball club and will be a hard card to handle going forward.

Hickory lost a game or 2 early in season also!! But them losing to W C is a bit surprising!!

Surprised by how badly Poky beat Newell, but shouldn't be I suppose. Also surprised Southeast Valley only scored 40 points??? St Eds must have really played some D or the Conrad kid was sick??? Also surprised Manson at home was close to East Sac. Johnson for Manson is a stud.. Only games I saw..

Southeast Valley kind of plays at a slow pace. I think they beat St. Eds last year. Manson doesn't have much of the supporting cast they did last year.

Pocahontas is pretty good but Newell is still dealing with injuries lingering from football season. The Pocahontas game was Mason Scheidegger's second game back form injury and the Mustangs are still without Connor Wolterman due to injury.

Newell still trying to get things sorted out on the offensive end, they are struggling a little bit without Brady Dicks to rely on for points.

Went to the Manson vs SE Valley. Hoping to see a Johnson-Conrad score fest. Neither scored much at all, like under 10 points each. Both were well guarded through out.Conrad did have good all around game with many nice assist and rebounds. Johnson actually left game late in third qrt with hurt leg??? The game was never close. Somewhat was disappointed..
