I'll give updates on the Kennedy- Senior game in Cedar Rapids on this frigid night. Kennedy double-teaming sophomore Carter, but Cougars with early lead, 17-14 at the 1st Q. Kennedy popping threes early. Carter getting few touches, and has only four points. Rams lead by four mid 2nd Q. Senior defense frustrating Cougars. Halftime score: Senior 26-20, as Kennedy limited to one three pointer in the second quarter. End of 3rd- tied 35- 35. In the 4th Q Kennedy's control of the offensive boards is showing. Kennedy will win as the end is a parade of free throws. Kennedy senior experience and home floor vs. a young Senior team playing three sophs. #3- ranked Cougars 53- 47.
