Top teams next year

Akron-Westfield returns a lot...maybe more than anyone

Gladbrook-always solid,.....returning champs
West Hancock-have been playing young kids, always physical
Garrigan-Behr is back.
Grundy Center-Flater is a good start
St. Ansgar-drops down from Class 1A

Here's my top 10

1. St. Ansgar- Very young last year at the skill positions, and have enough returning up front from a really good team last year.
2. St. Albert- Super young team last year that will have some 3 year starters this year that are only juniors.
3. Grundy Center- Best running back in the state, and a couple of good lineman
4. Akron Westfield- Return the most important player for their offense in QB, but have some pieces to fill also.
5. Garrigan- Nice place to start with return leading rusher, but have to fill a few other spots
6. Montezuma- Young team last year that was close to being very good.
7. Earlham- Another team returning a lot, with some winning experience
8. Pekin- Underachieved last year, but have pieces to improve on last year.
9. Lisbon- One of the most consistent class A programs with a nice core returning
10. West Hancock - Depending on district pairings there could be 3 teams with only 2 spots but return too much to over look.
