Herold has thrown a lot of short passes that turn into long plays against teams that can't tackle in the secondary. Seems fairly accurate and is good moving around - lot of throws on the run. He's had a few deep balls, mainly to Tieskoetter that were decent - but horrible coverage. I would say generally the throws he is making aren't difficult and therefore he should be accurate, but he typically makes good reads. His receivers has dropped a number of passes that should have been caught, so his completion percentage is underestimated. But SW has a very up-tempo game, most times have 20 seconds on the play clock, so I expect him to continue to get a lot of yards this year, particularly since their run game isn't that strong. They basically use the short passes as their run game.
Risse, is one of those guys that is fairly calm under pressure and has made some really good passes, but he has missed quite a few wide open guys this year so far. He has somewhat of a tendency to try to force it to his main man Bellis. The tempo of the Wapsie games seems to be a lot slower this year, therefore a lot less plays, therefore many fewer passes. Not sure he will eclipse last years stats unless they start speeding things up a bit. I do like his athleticism though and has a good touch on the ball.
