Spots 2-4 are really up for grabs in this district though. Clarinda is the only clear favorite to win the district, the other 3 are competing for the remaining spots barring some big upsets.

4 is up for grabs. West Burlington has already played Mid-Prairie and Williamsburg. While Central Lee has only played Mediapolis. Probably comes down to head to head. Also the 2 spot will most likely be decided the last week of the season. While I don't see Mid-Prairie beating Mepo it won't be decided as long as neither lose until then.

I would be surprised if Central Lee ends up the 3 and MidPrairie the 4. I don't see WBND in it at all even though they aren't mathematically eliminated.

It looks like we're aligned except in D3 and D6.

D3 I can't argue with you. There are a lot of very good teams in that district and it could go either way. The game this weekend is huge between NFV and Beckman.

D6 I can argue with you. Do you see Union losing two of their remaining district games since they've already beaten South Tama, or are you posting beyond the regular season? I do think a playoff rematch would be a solid game. I still see Union's size and physicality wearing down South Tama like it did in the first match-up, plus the starting sophomores for Union (QB, RB, plus some line and D) will have that much more experience under their belts and have already shown great growth from week to week this season.

With D3 I wonder if those teams will wear each other down or sharpen each other instead. Seems like a contender should come from that district as tough as it is. I'll go with East.

But...North Polk plays CMB and PCM the last 2 weeks. It wouldn't surprise me to see anything happen with those two games.
