Well, who ya’ got?

The way Xavier beat Solon, is hard not to count them as the favorite. That first half was incredibly inpressive. They took advantage of Solon’s fast, pursuing defense and made quick work of them. I’m guessing Pella has been working on staying home on defense, among a multitude of other things.

Even though Pella is going for 4 in a row, they have to be considered the underdog in this game. Should be a closely contested game. Would be fitting for Xavier to win it on a TD pass on last play of the game!

I’ll pick Xavier 28-21.

If Pella can somehow come out on top of this game....that will be impressive. This was supposed to be a rebuilding year for the Dutch. So, if they are able to win a State title on a "down" year that will be super impressive.

I'm still disappointed - and mad - at Boone for selling out Iowa parents, students and everyone in Iowa, by selling TV rights to a Chicago company, when we the people of Iowa should be able to watch it on our local TV provider or on IPTV, like we used to be able to do.

Dowling will continue their dominance...too well coached, physical, and talented this year as well. West could barely give Flitz enough time to pass against Bettendorf...if they can protect him, they might have a chance. Waggoner and crew will be awfully hard to contain though.

Good to know, I don't like the boys from Boone and the entire separate governing boards is ridiculous. That being said they set the rules that the schools go by. I am sure they are tossing and turning at the lack of respect that you have for them. Until then continue your preaching, it is quite entertaining.

Perhaps with your writing style they couldn't figure out what you were complaining about. The avenue that may help would be to contact your local coach and have them push for a change. They may not be too vocal as any change would probably include adjustments to open enrollment. That pesky process that public schools use to a great degree.
