Tillo

Playing college baseball at the D-I level is pretty much year round. They practice in the fall and start games in mid-February, so playing basketball as well isn't going to happen.

As for Kentucky's baseball program. They aren't in the top tier, but definitely respectable.

Tillo made a good choice and will have plenty of opportunities to show how good he is. My guess is that he'll end up in the pitching rotation by at least year two.

Maybe he could walk-on the hoops team at Kentucky on his offseason for baseball?

Haha did you really just ask that? I guess baseball isn't very popular but my goodness. UK is a top 25 team next year according to ESPN. Solid recruiting class as well.

I would say more people know nothing about college baseball than do. No need to hate on the guy for asking the question. It is not a popular sport.

It'll be interesting to see how he does. Tillo's Senior year for baseball wasn't a good as expected.

What level is Kentucky baseball??? I don't care if you never watch college baseball. If you ever watch college basketball at all or college football, you know Kentucky is in the SEC which is a top conference in any of the three sports. Not knowing that is pretty ridiculous IMO.

I didn't interpret him asking what level Kentucky was based upon them being Division 1 or not. I more interpreted it as if they were a good baseball program or not. Maybe I'm wrong here then. Yes its common knowledge that UK is SEC through and through. Pretty well known that they are legendary for hoops and not so much for football. Baseball is kind of an afterthought though.

Kentucky might be good team year in year out....but do you think SEC is the top conference in basketball top to bottom....no

Excuse my previous post, I may came off a bit harsh. Kentucky is in the SEC, which is a power 5 conference in all sports. The SEC is considered the best conference in both football and baseball. I must have misunderstood your previous question above. I thought you had no idea that Kentucky was a division 1 program in the SEC.
