Boone-Perry was a very entertaining game. Both teams came out strong but Perry was able to build a 4 point lead at half. Boone ratcheted up the defense in the 3rd quarter and went on a big run to take a 7 point lead into the fourth. It was a good coaching move going to a zone which gave Perry lot's of problems. Perry fought back in the fourth to get it close but Boone was outstanding from the free throw line to hang on for the win.

Just saw the GVC is ahead of Earlham 47-17 end 3rd.

That's what is impressive to me. When talking about GVC earlier in the season the focus was on the high scores. Really, their defense is what's impressive. I thought the halftime score of the East Union game was something like 48-13. Then last night holding Earlham to 17 after 3 quarters. That's some pretty dang good defense to hold teams to 1 point per minute or less.

I think Mt. P/FM was a close game for the most part even though Mt. P pushed it to 11 at the end. In fact, FM actually had a six point halftime lead.
