NFV v. Spirit Lake and Albia v. Mount Vernon.....what do you think?

NFV in a close one. To physical for Spirit Lake, but to win this one they will need to play very tough D with Backhaus at QB.

I don't see Mount Vernon stopping Isley he's an animal. Albia by 2 TD's.

Chow22, Rumor has it there is some questions concerning Isley's health for the Semi- Finals, do you have insight on what could possibly be wrong with him?

Ankle injury that he has had for a few games now. Was out after the 3rd play from scrimmage Friday night. Walking with a slight limp after the game. Backup RB Bryce Leshen is no slouch and can really lay the wood to people. Kid loves to hit people.

Don't punch the undefeateds tickets so fast folks.....the Eastern Iowa schedule played by North Fayette was considerably tougher than anything experienced by Spirit Lake or Albia. Additionally, North Fayette is the defending state champion so the title runs through them. As for Mount Vernon, they air it out but can also run the ball behind an OL Hawkeye/Cyclone recruit. Doesn't look like anyone has been able to cover the Mount Vernon receivers or put pressure on their QB yet outside of 3A Solon. They could be tough to prepare for.
