I must confess as one who doesn’t participate in online gaming, this seems to be a very common problem. These student athletes I hope are aware of the illegalities of it but apparently do so at their own peril. Not large dollar amounts (of course they’re supposed to be students) but placing bets on your own team…..yikes.

QB Dekkers accused of betting on Iowa St. games
